New Class Captain

Mark Taylor is the SCOD Association's new Class Captain, after being elected unopposed at the AGM held at Itchenor Sailing Club last Saturday. Mark replaced Richard Johnson who has stood down after 20 years of sterling service. Rupert Stevenson also stood down as Membership Secretary. Jon Carver was elected as Events and Publicity Officer and Nick Gates appointed Hon. Technical Advisor. The meeting also decided to raise the membership fee to 25GBP and discussed the possibility of joining the racing during the Cowes Classic Week. The meeting was followed by an excellent meal at the club attended by fifteen of the members and their families.
