The Class Captain has asked that all owners are made
aware of the following events open to SCODs (please
contact Mark via the forum, or directly, if you might
be interested in taking part in any of them):
Round the Island Race - Sat June 20th.
Classic Channel Regatta - Sat July 4th in Dartmouth to Sat 11th July.
Itinery is a couple of day races out of Dartmouth, then a passage race to Paimpol then a day race out of Paimpol, then a passage race to St Peter Port followed by a race around Sark.
The Metre and Classic Keelboat Regatta, Cowes - Sun July 19th to Sat July 25th
Cowes Week - Sat 1st Aug to Sat 8th Aug
St Wilfrids Hospice Race - Sat September 12th.
Chichester to Nab Tower and back.

Cowes Classic Week

SCODs have been invited to race during Cowes Classic
Week in the Metre and Keelboat Regatta, organised by
the Royal London SC, to take place between the 19th
and 24th July. This event should appeal both to
seasoned racers and those who find the expense and
the hustle and bustle of Cowes Week a bit
intimidating. Racing will take place everyday with
social events in the evening. There is a possibility
that the SCODs would get their own start if there are
sufficient entries. Please make your interest known
to the Class Captain, Mark Taylor ,either by personal
communication (details on Contacts page) or via the Forum
